Barbara R. Knight, 93, remembered for devotion to family, faith, and community

Barbara R. Knight, aged 93, passed away, preceding her husband Thomas J. Knight. She is survived by her children Thomas, Jim, Maureen, and predeceased baby Andrew. Barbara was a cherished grandmother to Bobby, Jack, Leo, Sean, Christine, Matthew, Anne, Andrew, Olivia, and Dani. She is survived by her brother John Hodgman, and was predeceased by sister-in-law Christine Hodgman.

Barbara was a devout Eucharistic Minister, providing comfort and aid to her church community for three decades. Her generosity extended to providing homemade meals to those in need. Barbara also ran a successful business, while remaining dedicated to her family and friends. Known for her culinary skills and love for diverse cuisines, Barbara's home was always open to guests, filled with love and laughter.

Barbara enjoyed sailing on Lake Michigan with Tom, and later cherished their retirement years at their conservation tree farm in Minnesota. She was an avid gardener and a music enthusiast who loved dancing with her husband.

Visitation hours were held on Sunday, with the funeral service following on Monday at St. Michael Church. Barbara was laid to rest at Good Shepherd Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to Lewy Body Dementia.
