Richard Warfield, a U.S. Army Veteran, retired Chicago Police Officer, and Catholic Deacon, passed away. He was the beloved husband of Mary Lou, cherished father of Richard R., and adored grandfather of Taylor, Richard A., and Juliana. Richard was the son of the late Charles and Catherine Warfield and brother of Charles and the late Dennis Warfield. He is survived by brother-in-law Peter Lettiere and other family members.

Richard dedicated his life to serving his community as a Deacon at Ford City Catholic Center, the Chicago Policeman’s Chaplain Unit, and Director of Pastoral Care at Little Company of Mary Hospital. Visitation will be held on April 25, 2025, with the funeral on April 26, 2025, both at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
