Marilyn G. Armstrong (nee O'Donnell), aged 78, from Oak Lawn, passed away on April 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of John for 60 years, loving mother of John, Mike, and Steve, proud grandmother of Keighley and Rylee, and dear sister of Kathy Doherty and John O'Donnell.

Marilyn was known for her dedication to dog obedience, having worked for 30 years teaching dog obedience at the Oak Lawn Park District. She also achieved AKC Obedience Trial Championships with her dogs Mariah, Tyler, Solo, and Derby.

Visitation for Marilyn will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the funeral service scheduled for Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to PAWS Tinley Park are appreciated.
