In one tweet, Commissioner Morrison praised an individual's grasp of China's historical context. He stated that "His understanding of Chinas history- past, then present and future was clear." This comment highlights the importance of comprehensive knowledge in global affairs.

Later that day, Morrison expressed concerns about law enforcement and public safety during protests. He tweeted: "A- I think this illustrates the need to re-establish no masking ordinances during rally’s protests. B- Their language has clearly escalated into assault, why did the officers not make an arrests? These officers failed, likely due to training and soft on crime policy restriction." The tweet suggests a need for policy review regarding protest management and officer training.

Morrison also promoted outdoor activities organized by the Cook County Forest Preserves.
