Sasireka Dharma, age 80, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Karur, Tamil Nadu, India, Sasireka's life was a testament to resilience, devotion, and unconditional love.

Married to K. Ramanathan in 1963 and later widowed, Sasireka found lasting companionship with her devoted husband, Amirtharajan Dharma. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with faith, love, and family. Despite facing challenges, Sasireka remained graceful, strong, and compassionate. Her nurturing spirit, known for hospitality and cooking, touched all who knew her.

Survived by her beloved husband, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and brother, Sasireka will be remembered for her dedication to family and the warmth she exuded. A memorial service and visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Lawn Funeral Home in Tinley Park, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tamil Nadu Foundation are welcomed in Sasireka’s memory.
