On May 10, 2025, Commissioner Morrison expressed concern over the actions of certain elected officials. He questioned their behavior by stating: "How far has so many of our Elected officials fallen Elected officials trespassed on federal property, screamed at and shoved federal law enforcement officers, and actively interfered as prisoners were being transported under federal custody." This tweet highlighted instances where these officials allegedly disrupted federal operations.

Two days later, on May 12, 2025, Morrison addressed educational issues within Illinois. He shared data regarding proficiency levels in schools: " Chart: Illinois Schools with Zero Proficiency Source: Wirepoints Special Report Illinois Education Crisis: Zero Proficiency in 80 Schools In 2024, 80 Illinois schools reported not a single student proficient in math, and 24 schools had zero students proficient in reading." The statistics underscored significant challenges facing the state's education system.

In another post on the same day, Morrison shifted focus to commend athletic excellence. He praised athletes by saying: "These are true champions, on the field and in their hearts!" This statement accompanied a link that presumably showcased individuals or teams achieving notable success.
