Born on January 6, 1964, to Judith (Nowak) and the late Frank Warszalek, Thomas was the beloved husband of Susan (Wheeler) for over forty years and the devoted father of Thomas (Barbara). He was the cherished grandfather of Mary, Francis, and Thomas. Thomas was the dear brother of Jerome (Marie) and the late Mary Lynn (Safwan) Badr, and a loving uncle to Anisa, Amira, Frances, Jack, Jonathon, and Meghan. His memory will be cherished by many other family members and friends.
A racing enthusiast, Thomas found joy in watching NASCAR events, reveling in the sights and sounds of the thrilling races. He also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, often spending his time fishing, golfing, or tending to his garden. Known for his culinary skills, Thomas took pride in grilling hearty meals for his family.
A Memorial Visitation for Thomas will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 3:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Avenue, Blue Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in his memory. Cremation services will be held privately.
