Marie Josephine Staack, 66, Fondly Remembered for Her Joyful Spirit and Love for Music

Marie Josephine Staack, known for her loving smile and kind heart, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, in Venice, Florida, surrounded by her family. Born on March 15, 1959, in St. Pancras, London, England, Marie's vibrant spirit touched everyone she met during her 66 years of a life well-lived.

Growing up in the south side of Chicago, Marie attended Lourdes High School and St. Gall School, fostering her passion for knowledge and nurturing care. As a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist, she provided comfort and care to many patients, leaving a lasting impact with her compassionate nature.

Marie's family was the center of her world, including her husband of 34 years, Mark Staack, their children Kelly Staack and Sean Stolz, and grandson Conor Stolz. Her Irish heritage held a special place in her heart, passed down by her devoted parents, William and Mary Dempsey, who traveled to the U.S. in 1963. Music and dance were integral parts of Marie's life, reflecting the joy and vitality she brought to every gathering.

Fondly remembered by her extended family, Marie's legacy of love, laughter, and a zest for life will continue to inspire those who knew her. Though she has left this world, her cherished memories and adventurous spirit will endure for generations to come.

A visitation in honor of Marie will be held on Friday, June 6th, at Brady-Gill Funeral Home in Tinley Park, with a Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart on Saturday, June 7th. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre.
