Justice, Ill. - Anna Agnieszka Bryja, known affectionately as Hania, passed away on June 6, 2025, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, surrounded by her family. Born on July 22, 1949, in Gronków, Poland, Anna leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy.

Anna was the beloved wife of Joseph Bryja and a devoted mother to daughters Barb Bryja-Friery and Joann Bryja, son-in-law Sean Friery, and beloved grandchildren Grace and Jacob Friery. She is survived by siblings Jan and Stanisław Bryja, and Josephine Figus, and was preceded in death by her parents and sister Aniela Zagata.

Devoting 38 years to Best Kosher Foods, Anna's nurturing spirit shone through as she cared for her grandchildren and took pleasure in nature, cooking, gardening, and travel videos. Her strong family connections and vibrant social presence touched the lives of many.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, followed by a funeral on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
