Erna M. Friedl passed away at the age of 88, the beloved wife of the late Gerhard Friedl. Erna was the dear daughter of the late Theodore and Katarina Weber, and sister of the late Kate, Elisabeth, Hilda, and Maria. She leaves behind her loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, along with her special friend John McGrath, and her cherished cat Toby.

Erna was a dedicated employee of Wrigley and a member of the DANK German Club and WOW groups. She will be remembered for her warmth and kindness by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lack and Sons Funeral Home, located at 9236 South Roberts Road, Hickory Hills. The Funeral Prayers will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home before proceeding to St. Patricia Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Erna will be laid to rest privately at Resurrection Cemetery.
