William "Bill" T. Padgett passed away this week in his childhood home after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife Nancy Padgett and children Andrew, Jessica, Sarah, and Mary Kate. Padgett was a beloved Papa to Haley, Mason, Joey, Bryce, Kayla, Jimbo, and Angelo.

He was the loving brother of Linda, the late Winnie, Jeff, Brian, Diane, Donna, and Doris. Padgett was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews and a friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Marion Padgett.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of family eulogies at 6:00 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy and Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL. Inurnment will be private.
