Louis S. Gasperec, 79, of Hazel Crest, passed away on June 18, 2025. Survived by his sons Louis E., Stephan, and Michael Gasperec, his sister Susan Strittmatter, and grandsons Jackson and Louie Gasperec. Louis was the son of Louis E. and Stella Gasperec and is also survived by his long-time companion Janis Leppin and her son Michael. A graduate of Mendel Catholic High School and the University of Notre Dame, he was a respected attorney and two-time President of the South Suburban Bar Association.

In addition to his legal career, Louis was a former child model and enjoyed showcasing space suits for advertisements. A devoted White Sox fan, he cherished attending Chicago's World Series games. Louis admired performances by Jackson's band and Louie's baseball games, masterfully handling a yo-yo and advocating for animals from dogs to donkeys. Known for his storytelling and sage advice, he will be missed for his humor and compassion.
