Richard "R.J." Seitz Sr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Donna Seitz for 35 years. Father to Edward, Deborah, Richard Jr., Laura, Michael, and Eric. Grandfather to Noah, Adam, Quinn, Chester, Eric, Steven, Emma, and Owen. Great-grandfather to three. He was fondly remembered as a cherished family man and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service with Army Military Honors is scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brady-Gill Funeral Home in Tinley Park. The family is accepting flowers or tree plantings in memory of Richard "R.J." Seitz Sr.
