City of Calumet HEW Finance Committee of the Whole met July 15

A HEW Finance Committee Meeting of the Whole is being held for Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. to be held at City Hall at 204 Pulaski Road, Calumet City, IL. To participate in the public comments portion of the meeting, please email your comments to mwilson@calumetcity.org. Please limit your words to 300 words or less. Any public comments must be submitted by 10:00am on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
The purpose of the meeting is for consideration of the following matters:
1. Roll Call
2. Public Comment
3. Discussion and action on City Wide Back to school Resource fair (either at city hall or Library. Library Board must approve)
a. All Wards in one location
b. Resource tables provided for 2025/2026 school year
c. Food Music
d. Community Police and Fire can be centrally located
e. Potential dates
4. HEW and City Council Participation/Partnership with CMPD for back-to-school event.
5. Part and/or all of the meeting may be held in Executive Session on matters on matters pertaining to personnel, litigation, and employment of specific matters qualifying for Executive session, and action on said matters may or may not be taken prior to the conclusion of the meeting.
