Jack P. Reimer, a World War II U.S. Army Air Corp. veteran and dedicated employee of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation Department for over 30 years, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the age of 97 in Palos Park, Illinois. He was the beloved husband of the late Esther S. Reimer, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation for Jack on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Orland Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St Michael Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack's name to the Wounded Warrior Project. Jack Reimer will be remembered not only for his service to his country but also for his contributions to the community and commitment to his work.
