Viera Koscakova, 44, departed on July 1, 2025, leaving a profound mark on all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Jozef Podgorski, daughter Nicole Koscakova, siblings Anna Jasnak, Mária Bellak, Jozef, Ján, and Stanislav Koščákovci, along with many relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois.

The funeral service will take place on Monday, July 14, 2025, beginning with prayers and a procession from the funeral home to Saint Faustina Kowalska Church in Chicago for mass at 11:00 AM. Viera will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.

May Viera rest in eternal peace, embraced by God's love. A beautiful and unforgettable soul, she will be deeply missed.
