A proud graduate of Reavis High School in Burbank, IL, Theresa epitomized the values of hard work and dedication throughout her life. Her Catholic faith guided her actions, reflecting kindness and compassion in her interactions with others.
Theresa is survived by her daughter, Katherine Baker; granddaughter, Izabella Urpsis, affectionately known as Izzy; brother Thomas Petrouski; sister-in-law Susan Petrouski; and sister, Pat Kramarsky. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Robert Kramarsky. Theresa's numerous nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart, treasuring the moments shared with their beloved aunt.
Theresa's zest for life extended to her love of travel, reading, and occasional visits to the casino. Her warm presence lit up any room, especially during visits to her hometown of Chicago, where she delighted in time spent with friends and family.
At home, Theresa cared for her chickens and cherished dog, Stella, showering them with the same love that filled her heart. Yet, her most cherished moments were those spent with her granddaughter, Izzy, sharing her love and wisdom in every precious interaction.
Theresa's legacy of love, laughter, and family values will continue to inspire those who knew her. As we bid farewell, her memory remains a guiding light for those who loved her deeply.
In lieu of flowers, donations for Theresa's medical care and final expenses are appreciated.
A visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. Cremation rites have been accorded.
