On July 30, 2025, Patricia Davidson, a dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away after a courageous battle. Born on August 4, 1941, in Chicago to Andrew and Jean Stopa, Patricia led a life filled with love, family, and dedication.

Patricia, a city girl, found love with Chuck, a country boy, and they married in 1964. Relocating to Hazel Crest in 1969, they built a home where they raised their children, Eric and Shelly. After Chuck's passing in 1988, Patricia found solace in family. Shelly's marriage to George (Skip) Snyder brought joy, along with grandchildren Zach, Ella, Jori, and Cody. Her heart expanded further with the arrival of her first great-grandchild, Estella.

Proud of her Polish heritage, Patricia frequented Pierogi Fest and delved into genealogy, uncovering family roots dating back to the American Revolution and connecting with relatives in Poland. Her family was her world, and she will be deeply missed by her sister Christi, cousin/sister Margaret, other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home in Homewood. The funeral service will take place on Monday at St. John Neumann Church in Homewood, with interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City.
