David A. Dietz, US Air Force Veteran, Dies at 68

David A. Dietz, a US Air Force veteran, passed away at the age of 68 on July 26, 2025. He was the husband of the late Janet Jannotta Dietz and father of Michelle Diaferio. He is survived by his grandchildren, Jacob, Morgan, and Alexandra Diaferio, and siblings Deborah Dietz-Evans, Nancy Dietz, and Thomas Dietz. David retired from Metra Railroad and will be remembered at a Memorial Visitation on August 16, 2025, at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. Interment will follow at Union Ridge Cemetery.
