South Holland - Gerald R. Olthoff, 76, of South Holland, IL, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, and is survived by his loving wife, Donna Olthoff, and their children: Scott, Timothy, Brian, and Craig. He was a cherished grandfather, brother, and brother-in-law.

For over 40 years, Jerry was the owner and operator of Arrow-Tec Sheet Metal and HVAC in South Holland. He was devoted to his family, proud of his children and grandchildren, and deeply involved in his faith, serving in various aspects of ministry.

There will be a visitation on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home in Dyer, IN, officiated by Reverend Wybren Oord. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions can be made to Life Action Ministries or Bible League International.

Gerald will be dearly missed by his family and friends as they remember his love, pride in his family, and devotion to his faith.
