TINLEY PARK - Dolores F. Salerno, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished family member, passed away at the age of 78. She was the loving mother of Mary Destito and the late Frank Destito, adored grandmother of Gia (Joseph) Mallet and Leo Mallet, and a dear great-grandmother to Lily and Bella. Salerno was also the former spouse of Peter Destito and devoted sister to Albert, Michael (Lois), Lorraine (Vito), and Anthony (Patricia).

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lawn Funeral Home in Tinley Park, IL. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m., followed by entombment at Good Shepherd Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Dolores F. Salerno.
