Jeanne Elizabeth Poore, 81, passed away on September 7, 2025, at her Crestwood, IL home after a battle with COPD. Known for her vibrant spirit, Jeanne will be remembered for her dedication to her family, career, and community involvement.

Born in Chicago on May 21, 1944, Jeanne excelled as a paralegal at CT Corporation and was an active trustee at the Chicago South Elks Lodge #1596. After retirement, she ran a successful crochet business and enjoyed indulging in her favorite treats. She had a love for butterflies, Baileys, frozen chocolates, TV series critiques, and gathering with friends at weekly Bingo games.

Jeanne is survived by her children Tracy Crosse and Richard Poore, grandchildren Cara and Robby Crosse, and Will, Grace, Ben, and James Poore. She was preceded in death by her longtime love, Glen Alan Forbes, parents William Andrew Paul Johnson and Jeanne Thorne Schmidt, and older brother William Robert Johnson.

A service to celebrate Jeanne's life will be held at Brady-Gill Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Tinley Park on September 12, 2025, with funeral services at Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Park the following day.

Jeanne's love, warmth, and commitment to her family and community will forever be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
