The Village of Tinley Park announced on April 2 that PT Ferro has been contracted to repair or replace nearly seven miles of roadway across 48 streets as part of the 2026 Street Resurfacing Program.

The program is intended to improve road conditions for residents and motorists. Work is scheduled to start next week, beginning with concrete removal.

According to the announcement, residents will receive a door notice from the contractor one day before any work begins on their apron or curb. The construction will proceed roughly in the order provided by the Village.

More information about the project, including a map detailing which streets are included, can be found at TinleyPark.org/StreetResurfacing.

The resurfacing effort is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements within Tinley Park. Residents are encouraged to stay informed about progress and updates through official channels.
