Village of Bridgeview Board of Trustees met July 16

CALL TO ORDER The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview was called to order by Mayor Landek at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
PLEDGE Mayor Landek led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL Roll Call indicated the following Trustees present: Trustees Pticek, Pinion, Baste, Lewis, and Cardenas.
Roll Call indicated the following Trustees absent: Trustee Higginson.
Also Present: Mayor Landek, Clerk Altar, Attorney Cainkar, Police Chief Mancha, Fire Chief Grzadziel, and Human Resources Director Pannaralla.
2025-M-62 APPROVE MINUTES OF JULY 2, 2025
Motion by Trustee Pinion and seconded by Trustee Cardenas to approve the minutes of the regularly scheduled Board Meeting of July 2, 2025.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 4 – Trustees Pticek, Pinion, Lewis, and Cardenas. NAYES: 0
ABSTAIN: 1 – Trustee Baste.
ABSENT: 1- Trustee Higginson.
There being four affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2025-M-63 APPROVE BILLS PAYABLE
Motion by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Pinion to approve the bills payable as of July 16, 2025.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5 – Trustees Pticek, Pinion, Baste, Lewis, and Cardenas. NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 1- Trustee Higginson.
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2025-M-64 APPROVE ORDINANCE NO. 25-10
Motion by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Lewis to approve Ordinance No. 25-10; an ordinance providing for the annual budget for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 2025, and ending December 31, 2025, for the Village of Bridgeview, Cook County, Illinois.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5 – Trustees Pticek, Pinion, Baste, Lewis, and Cardenas. NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 1 – Trustee Higginson.
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2025-M-65 ADJOURN
Motion by Trustee Lewis and seconded by Trustee Cardenas to adjourn the regular Board Meeting of July 16, 2025.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5 – Trustees Pticek, Pinion, Baste, Lewis, and Cardenas.
NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 1- Trustee Higginson.
