Village of Bridgeview Board of Trustees met June 18

CALL TO ORDER The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview was called to order by Clerk Altar at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
PLEDGE Clerk Altar led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL Roll Call indicated the following Trustees present: Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, and Cardenas.
Roll Call indicated the following Trustees absent: Trustees Pinion and Lewis.
Also Present: Clerk Altar, Attorney Cainkar, Police Chief Mancha, and Human Resources Director Pannaralla.
2025-M-51 MAYOR PRO TEM
Motion by Trustee Higginson and seconded by Trustee Baste to appoint Trustee Pticek as temporary Chairman of tonight’s meeting.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 3- Trustees Higginson, Baste, and Cardenas.
NAYES: 0
ABSTAIN: 1- Trustee Pticek.
ABSENT: 2- Trustees Pinion and Lewis.
There being three affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2025-M-52 APPROVE MINUTES OF JUNE 4, 2025
Motion by Trustee Higginson and seconded by Trustee Cardenas to approve the minutes of the regularly scheduled Board Meeting of June 4, 2025. Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 4- Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, and Cardenas. NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 2- Trustees Pinion and Lewis.
There being four affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2025-M-53 APPROVE EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES
Motion by Trustee Higginson and seconded by Trustee Cardenas to approve and release Executive Session Minutes of December 4, 2024, in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 4-Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, and Cardenas.
NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 2- Trustees Pinion and Lewis.
There being four affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2025-M-54 APPROVE BILLS PAYABLE
Motion by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve the bills payable as of June 18, 2025.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 4- Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Baste, and Cardenas. NAYES: 0
ABSENT: 2- Trustees Pinion and Lewis.
