Friends of Sonia Khalil owes $2,425 in fines

The campaign committee Friends of Sonia Khalil owes a $750 fine imposed on March 1, 2016, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $1,675 with Tina Jalajel listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 38 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $128,119 in pending fines.
