The campaign committee United Democrats of Dolton owes a $1,156 fine imposed on Sept. 11, 2013, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $326 with Roberts E. Hunt Jr listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 38 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $128,119 in pending fines.
