Unpaid fines for Glenwood-based campaign committee totaled $11,350 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Glenwood has overdue fines amounting to a total of $11,350, records obtained by the South Cook News show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Glenwood Peoples' Party was the only campaign committee in Glenwood that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The largest fine that Glenwood Peoples' Party has yet to pay was imposed on March 1, 2016, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $5,000.
