Analysis: Hickory Hills pays $3.34 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Hickory Hills Police Pension Plan

Taxpayers contributed 77.1 percent of the $1,037,489 the Hickory Hills Police Pension Plan brought in last year, or $3.34 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Hickory Hills contributed $800,000 to the fund, which saw a $82,893 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $238,930, or 23 percent, in 2016.
