Evergreen Park Mayor Kelly Burke has highlighted the recent growth and expansion of several local businesses in the community. In her monthly message, Burke pointed to new developments among established and new businesses that are contributing to economic activity in the village.

Spoke & Vine, a wine bar located at 3146 W. 95th St., has expanded its space and now offers lunch service. Chi Tung, a longstanding restaurant at 9560 S. Kedzie, is undergoing a major remodel and expansion to enhance the dining experience.

Access Casters, a family-run company supplying casters and related components, recently relocated from Chicago to Evergreen Park. The business renovated a previously vacant building at 9340 S. Kedzie for its operations.

Some businesses have also grown beyond Evergreen Park’s borders. Porter Cullen’s, based at 3541 W. 99th St., opened a second restaurant called Ila’s in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Toast It Iz, which operates at 9204 S Western, has also added a River North location.

Core Fitness & Physical Therapy, situated at 2940 W. 95th St., launched Core Sport, a second facility specializing in sports performance training at 10224 S. Kedzie Ave. Unspoken Couture Boutique moved into a larger space at 9301 S. Kedzie due to increased customer demand.

In her message, Mayor Burke said: “Congratulations to all of these businesses; we wish you continued success.   The growth of each business highlights the strength of the Village’s small business community and the residents who support them. When you shop and dine locally and share your favorite Evergreen Park businesses with family and friends, you make a direct impact on our local economy. That ongoing community support is what allows our local business owners to expand and helps us attract new businesses that see Evergreen Park as the perfect place to grow.”

Burke added: “Thank you for being a part of this success story. Together, we’re building a stronger, more vibrant Evergreen Park one business at a time.”
