Report: Arbor Park spent $11,279 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Arbor Park School District 145 is up 7 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $10,532 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,279 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1466 to 1388.

Arbor Park's spending in 2016-17 was 13 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
