Report: Lemont Bromberek Combined spent $11,716 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Lemont Bromberek Combined School District 113A is up 20 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $9,738 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,716 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 2336 to 2166.

Lemont Bromberek Combined's spending in 2016-17 was 10 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
