Orland Fire Protection District responded to 1201 calls in 2017 - 30.1 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.
The calls in Orland included 151 fires - 77 structure fires, 14 vehicle fires and 60 other fires. The fire department also responded to seven calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $575,600 in fire loss - or about $3,812 per fire.
The department also received 1043 false calls, including 16 malicious calls and 1027 other false calls.
The calls resulted in two civilian fire-related injuries and one civilian non-fire injury. Additionally, 10 fire service member were injured in non fire-related incidents.
