Burnham Fire Department responded to 110 calls in 2017 - 34.1 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Burnham included 63 fires - 44 structure fires, six vehicle fires and 13 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $56,215 in fire loss - or about $892 per fire.

The department also received 46 false calls, including five malicious calls and 41 other false calls.
