94 percent of applicants to Northwestern College-Southwestern Campus were admitted for fall 2017

At Northwestern College-Southwestern Campus, 70 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 92 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Bridgeview enrolled 650 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 6.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (50 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (27 percent).

The school admitted 94 percent of the 239 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 67 percent enrolled.
