Report: Which South Suburbs communities saw the most fires in 2017?

Fire 10

Bedford Park Fire District, Thornton Fire District and Merrionette Park Fire Dept reported responding to the most fire-related incidents per capita in South Suburbs in 2017, according to the latest state report.

The annual summary of state fire incidents, published by the Illinois State Fire Marshal, records the number and type of fire-related incidents each fire protection district responded to in the calendar year. Fires are categorized as structure fires, vehicle fires or other fires.
