School discipline: Which South Suburbs districts reported suspending the most boys?

Oak Lawn Community High School District 229, Sandridge School District 172 and Thornton Township High School District 205 reported the highest rate of boys suspended for any reason during the 2016-17 school year in South Suburbs, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
