Blue Island Public Library issued the following announcement on Oct. 19.
Chef Michael Niksic will teach you how to better plan, prepare, and serve your holiday fare. Featuring cool seasonal side dishes of fine restaurant quality, the chef will prepare and serve samples to all in attendance. All recipes will be supplied to take home. Registration is required online at www.blueislandlibrary.org or at the reference desk.
