State Senate race: Democrat Fitzgerald wins voter tally in Lemont Township Precinct 5

Bridget M. Fitzgerald led Republican John Curran in votes cast in Lemont Township Precinct 5 for the District 41 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Fitzgerald appeared to outpace Curran by a margin of 3.9 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
