1) FYI, while the Village Health Inspector has an excused absence from the Village, her supervisor Ken Panarella has assumed the responsibility of making health inspections for the past month, so that inspections are not disrupted. Thank you Ken for assisting the Village in this capacity. Should anyone need assistance from the Health Inspector, please contact Building Commissioner Rodger Early and he'll dispatch accordingly.

2) FYI the US Center for Disease Control has recalled all romaine lettuce. Please dispose of any romaine lettuce until further notice, due to an e-coli breakout, as 2 cases have been reported in Illinois.
