2) Motion to approve the promotion of Firefighter/Paramedic Chad Freitag to the rank of Lieutenant, as this candidate is listed on the 7/27/2018 eligibility list posted in the Alsip Village Hall. This assignment is consistent with the total number of only 6 active Fire Lieutenants (i.e. Lt. Kraus is off for next 6mos OJI and Lt. Grutzius will retire in late May 2019).
3) Alsip Police & Fire Commission to administer the Oath of Office to Lieutenant Freitag.
4) Approval of the REVISED Board and Committee Meeting Schedule reflecting the Village of Alsip Board to acknowledge Dr. Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day and Veterans’ Day where the Village Board will no longer schedule meetings in observance of and respect for these federal holidays.
