Non partisan Dean Barnett's election campaign committee, Citizens to Elect Dean Barnett, spent $8,182 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Barnett's committee spent the most on legal fees in the quarter, with all those payments ($5,500) going to Law Office of James P. Nally P.C in Chicago. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Barnett's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
