Unpaid fines for South Holland-based campaign committees totaled $8,300 in August 2018

Campaign committees in South Holland collectively owe a total of $8,300 in fines, according to records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that three committees in South Holland were delinquent in payment for August 2018.

The South Holland-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Friends of Donald Luster, which owes a total of $5,000.

The fine that Friends of Donald Luster has yet to pay was imposed on May 21, 2014, for failure to comply.
