NEW BUSINESS

1. ZC #17-010 Sign Code Modifications: PUBLIC HEARING – The applicant (City of Oak Forest) requests review and recommendation of approval of proposed comprehensive text amendments to Section 9-106, Sign Regulations, of the City of Oak Forest Zoning Ordinance including, without limitation, size, placement, construction materials, application process, hearing process, appeal process, variations, time limit, and number limitations on exempt, temporary, and permanent signs in residential and non-residential zoning districts. Related amendments, including, without limitation, variations and design standards, are also proposed to Article 11, Zoning Administration and Enforcement, to ensure that conflicts within the City of Oak Forest Zoning Ordinance are minimized and that its entirety is consistent with those proposed to Section 9-106.

2. ZC #19-001 Design Guidelines – Text Amendment: WORKSHOP – Staff presents the New Development section of the design guidelines manual for informal feedback. This is not a public hearing and no action is being made.

3. Consideration of Special Meeting: This Commission shall determine whether or not to schedule a public meeting on March 27, 2019, at 7:00pm in Council Chambers to discussion Item 2 on this agenda.
