Oak Lawn village trustee candidate Tim Desmond returns $3,000 contribution from Keeping Oak Lawn First

The campaign committee of Oak Lawn village trustee candidate Tim Desmond, Friends of Tim Desmond, returned a $3,000 contribution from Keeping Oak Lawn First on Oct. 9, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Keeping Oak Lawn First has not made any other contributions to Tim Desmond in the past 12 months.
