Visitors are always welcome to all public meetings of the President and Board of Trustee of the Village of Burnham. Interested parties wishing to speak should identify their intent to speak, they then may give their name and then make their comment. Person may also provide their address privately to the Village Clerk, if they so choose, person are advised that addresses are considered private information under the Freedom of Information Act and thus are exempt from disclosure pursuant to any Freedom of Information request. However, in order to give proper consideration to all items on the agenda, the President has the authority to limit participants in debates and will close repetitive or abusive remarks.

      1. Burnham Fire Department awarded a grant by the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

ORDINANCE, RESOLUTION AND PLANNING:

      1. Discussion of, consideration of, and taking action (pass or not pass) on RESOLUTION NO.2019-R-004 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE COOK COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG) 2019 PROGRAM YEAR APPLICATION FOR THE VILLAGE OF BURNHAM, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS

FINANCE:

      1. Discussion of, consideration of, and taking action (approve or not approve) an authorization for the acceptance of a grant by Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Assistance to Firefighter’s Grant Program in the amount of $141,583.00 in order to purchase new selfcontained breathing apparatus and authorization to contribute (5%) of the purchase price, which is $6,741.30. The Village of Burnham would contribute its portion ($6,741.30) as set forth in the attached Exhibit “A” and Exhibit “B”.
