Village of Alsip issued the following announcement on April 17.
We know it’s always important to do our best to promote a Great Place to Live & Work. I’m asking that you post the attached flyer in your home, business, Church, Scout group, or school. We’ll designate a location for the volunteers to cleanup and we’ll provide a map, gloves and water. Public Works will pick up the garbage bags at the end of the event.
There are a lot of people on this email and I hope that you will help the Village to promote 3 hours of volunteerism on a Saturday morning to “Alsip’s Annual Cleanup Day”
