1) Illinois First District Appellate Court Judge Jesse Reyes will administer the Oath of Office of Village Trustee following the results of the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election for:

2) REQUEST APPROVAL OF AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ALSIP AMENDING CHAPTER 4, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND LIQUOR CONTROL, OF THE ALSIP MUNICIPAL CODE, TO PROVIDE FOR A LIQUOR LICENSE CLASSIFICATION FOR CERTAIN MINI-MARTS BEING A PART OF A GASOLINE SERVICE STATION AND REGULATIONS PERTAINING THERETO.

1) Presentation of the April 2019 FOIA Report.

A. Finance, Trustee McLawhorn

1) List of payroll and accounts payable.

B. Fire, Trustee McLawhorn

1) Presentation to request bids for the replacement of six (6) overhead doors for both fire stations and the replacement of twelve (12) door operators. This has been budgeted for the FY 19/20 budget.

2) Discussion of adding treat/non-transport fees and lift assist fees to Section 9-32 of the village ordinance.

3) Discussion of adding a $500.00 cost for all false and nuisance calls. This will include all extinguishment of open burns, make a false call and malicious false fire alarm activations.

C. Police, Committee

1) Presentation of the April 2019 Monthly Activity Report.

2) Request to hire one (1) part-time Community Service Officer. This position was budgeted for. This position will be utilized primarily as a front desk person in the afternoon hours. This position will bring us to six (6) CSO’s.

3) On Friday, May 17, 2019 from 5am-Noon the Alsip Police Department will be taking part in the National Cop on a Rooftop event to raise funds for Special Olympics. Officers and volunteers will be at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 12150 S. Cicero and 11843 S. Pulaski. Last year we raised a record $15,000 and need your support again this year.

4) On Saturday, May 18, 2019 for National Police Week we will be holding an open house at the Police Department with two station tours. Tours will be conducted at 9:30 am and 10:30 am. Households that show that they have registered for Smart 911 will receive a raffle ticket for a small raffle prize.

5) Approval of an agreement between the Village of Alsip and the Metropolitan Alliance of Police, representing Alsip Police Chapter #669 from May 1, 2018 through April 30, 2022.
