The data shows that 16 men and two women were released in Burbank. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 57-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jonathan Sarolas. He was convicted of a property crime in 2013 when he was 24 years old. He is now 30.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
