The data shows that both of the released offenders in Midlothian were men. The younger parolee is a 24-year-old man sentenced for crimes against justice in 2018, and the other is a 41-year-old man sentenced for crimes against a person in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Scott Talbert. He was convicted of crimes against a person in 2016 when he was 38 years old. He is now 41.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
